We also believe that custom builds shouldn’t drag on forever. That’s why we developed the Pradera Process, a unique way of managing our talented subcontractors and keeping you updated on exactly what’s happening during your build. It’s our way of ensuring that every detail is perfect and that we use our time as efficiently as possible.

Whether this is your first time building a custom home or if you’re a seasoned building pro, you’re in great hands. The Pradera Process

STEP 1: Find a Lot and Design Your Dream Home

You may already have chosen a home plan and know exactly where you want to build. Or, you may just be getting started and you’re full of ideas! No matter where you are in your home building journey, we recommend that you reach out to us as soon as possible so that we can help you find the perfect location for your home!

Not only can we help you nail down how much you should invest in a lot based on your overall budget and home design, but we also work with a network of trusted real estate agents, architects, and lenders that we can bring into the project. Additionally, Pradera Group has our own inventory of infill lots for you to choose from in the Atlanta area.

We prepare a detailed budget earlier than most, during this conceptual phase of your project so that cost considerations can be implemented in the architectural plans. This puts the budget front and center as your home is being designed.

Our expert recommendations and connections can help make this important part of the process go smoothly and get you started on the right foot.

STEP 2: Decisions, Decisions

During our first few meetings we will work to deeply understand your vision, preferences, and outline how the building process will work. We’ll also begin to help you make decisions about fixtures, finishes, and all of the details that will make your custom home uniquely yours. We walk you through it step-by-step, and then put the bids and budget together in a clear format that is easy to understand. Once the budget and timeline are approved, we have a plan!

At this point we create a detailed schedule (here’s an example!) so that you can track our team and our subcontractors on a daily basis to see what’s happening on your site. This is a hugely important part of our process that allows us to finish homes faster than our competitors and keeps our clients fully informed every step of the way.

STEP 3: Let’s Build

Next, we’ll get to work with our excellent team and subcontractors right away. It’s our priority to make every day count so that we can get you moved in as soon as possible. Our leadership team is on your site almost every day, overseeing multiple teams and addressing any challenges as they come up, instead of after the fact. We ensure the work is done right the first time and that every detail is perfect.

We only use high quality materials to build your home, which means that our finished product is better than most. This commitment to quality shows up in the things that you can see, like fixtures and finishes, and also stays true in everything behind the drywall.

STEP 4: Staying In Touch

Communication is key, we’ll meet together frequently and have fun building your new home. You’ll get regular updates from us on how things are going, and if anything comes up that is outside of the plan, we’ll work with you to find a solution that you’re happy with. No surprises!

STEP 5: Dream Home, Dream Life

You’ll be moving into your custom home before you know it. On average we complete home in about ⅔ of the time of our competitors, without compromising quality, because of the way that we manage our team and subcontractors. So you can get to the thing that matters most: making memories with your loved ones in your beautiful home.

Plus, we keep in touch! One year after your home is complete, we’ll do a walkthrough with you to make sure that everything still looks great and is functioning properly. If needed, we will handle repairs and ensure that you’re completely happy and satisfied with your home and the experience of building it.
